Dishonest, vile language and disrespect for customer/clients

If a zero star was available I would certainly use it, this my personal home sale experience and in my personal opinion having experienced with 72 Sold owned and operated by Realtor/Lawyer Greg Hague and Partners in the summer of 2018, it was a most disastrous event -...

Bad company and agents

In my opinion, I would not recommend to my worst enemy. Steer clear of company, very unhappy with our service and the way things were handled.

User's recommendation: Don’t recommend.

Totally misrepresented

They advertise that they are not a traditional real estate company, but that is exactly. While they have a slightly lower commission rate they are just exactly like all the other agencies. We were quoted a price range that our house would be listed for. The agent tried to list it in the middle to get a quick sale.

User's recommendation: Steer clear and do some research first.

Yes, I think research is the name of the game! Realtors have a bad reputation, but there are good ones out there.

Do not use this company. They do not keep track of their sub realtor companies. I would rather have a Colonoscopy without sedation than go through this process again.

Lack of communication. Having our agent dissappear, without any call from the broker or agency he worked for. Having our closing date continously change. 14 day continously changing. Having to call title, brokerage, and buyers agent to find out what is going on. Refusal to give us information or broker phone number to find out who ,or if we have an agent. Completely unprofessional, and improper treatment.

User's recommendation: Don't be a future customer.

This is Bait & Switch Company - Run!!

They used old photos, plagiarized remarks from previous agent's listing, did not market as promised.

User's recommendation: Do not sign with this company. They promise the world and deliver nothing. Their extraordinarily high cancellation rate speaks for itself with so many dissatisfied customers.

Listed with them and kept being told my homes was to high by one of their partners.. Not selling.

The Realator said my type of house in this market was not what people were looking for. They seem to make a lot of false advertising. List low is were they get their o I sold my house more than than listing. Beware of this.

User's recommendation: They have a high rate of listing expire.

They lie in their ads

Update by user Aug 04, 2022

Now 72 sold just told us if we cancel our contract we have to pay them their commission and they said they never ever said they would sell it in 72 hours even though that is what his ad says.

Original review posted by user Aug 04, 2022
Went with 72 sold because they advertised they could sell your house in 72 hours they lied. They mean 72 days and next week maybe 72 months.

User's recommendation: Go elsewhere, their ads are lies.

Forget the 72 sold they mean 72 days but don't mention that until you complain

Update by user Aug 04, 2022

Issue has not been resolved because management refuses to get back to me to cancel the contract so I can go elsewhere. They said I could cancel the contract at anytime I was not satisfied, but they lied about that also.

Original review posted by user Aug 04, 2022
Never even told us that 72 meant days next time it will be weeks or months. Do not make us feel worthwhile and now we will lose our new house.

User's recommendation: Go with someone else.

72sold cost me money and didn't sell my home

In June, I was told that there had been a cash offer made on my home. The supposed buyer requested that certain projects be completed on my home. These projects included repairing my front deck, repairing damage around my rear door, finishing the interior of a shed and...

Wow! That is completely different from what I experienced.

I was told there were repairs needed. I got a quote from someone they recommended and someone I had used in the past. I used theirs as he was cheaper and I paid him at closing.

It was a really smooth process. I am sorry you had a bad experience.

Failure to comply with laws

A house in my neighborhood has had a 72 Sold sign for well over a month and STILL is not listed on MLS. This is in direct violation of real estate laws and is highly suspect.

User's recommendation: Not a good company.

All houses are listed on MLS… it doesn’t matter who you list with. All go on Realtor.com… home purchase has come to a screeching HALT thanks to high interest rates.

At one time if you looked on line almost everything was pending, especially in Arizona. Not the case anymore

#2255706
@PissedConsumer2255570

It was never listed. 72 Sold sold it to Open Door.

Disgusting Treatment

Original review updated by user Jul 13, 2022
We decided to go with 72sold after being told they would get all qualified buyers together on one day, so we could go out and hopefully have an offer on our return. Well that never happened, our realtor Ted Benner called next day said he had a cash buyer and could they...

Cathy, call his broker, Teresa Hague, and tell her what your agent did. Then tell her you're going to file a code of ethics complaint.

The agent had a fiduciary duty to only you and for him to text the other agent about you, that's where he went wrong. So, report the agent because those of us in real estate don't need people like him in this industry.

72 hours?! Nope they took 1 month to sell my house.

72 hour Guam scammed me. They promised to sell my home but they did not deliver. Took 90 days to close. Beware they do not sell your home in 72 hours! They are just getting you a purchase agreement.
